In the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic and its impact on the US footwear industry, the Two Ten Footwear Foundation can help footwear employees and their families who have been directly affected by this global emergency.

If you’ve been working in the footwear industry for one year in a full-time, part-time or temporary position, and you, your family, or any of your footwear colleagues are in need of assistance, please contact Two Ten immediately for emergency financial assistance, information, referral services and counseling.

What is the Two Ten Footwear Foundation?

Two Ten Footwear Foundation has supported and united America’s footwear industry since the Depression-era (1939), when a group of footwear workers came together at 210 Lincoln Street in Boston to help a colleague who had fallen on hard times.

Eighty-one years later, Two Ten now serves a national workforce of 334,000 employees and their families with support, services and programs that improve their lives and careers, while ensuring a healthy future for the next generation of our industry.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

At JD Finish Line we offer an employee assistance program (EAP) to all employees who need it. Our EAP is a work-based intervention program designed to assist employees in resolving personal problems that may adversely affect an employee's performance. EAPs traditionally have assisted workers with issues like alcohol or substance abuse; however, most now cover a broad range of issues such as financial or legal problems and traumatic events like workplace violence. Programs are delivered at no cost to employees by stand-alone EAP vendors or providers who are part of comprehensive health insurance plans. Services can be delivered via phone, video-based counseling, online chatting, e-mail interactions or face-to-face.

Our EAP includes a wide array of other services including basic legal assistance or adoption assistance.

EAP services are available to employees, their spouse, children and non-marital partner living in the same household as the employee.
